Specialist care for women's health
Dr Myriam Girgis is a gynaecologist and laparoscopic surgeon. She provides care for a wide range of gynaecological conditions, combining medical management with minimally invasive surgical techniques where appropriate.
Her areas of expertise include early pregnancy concerns, pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids, fertility surgery, abnormal bleeding, ovarian cysts, abnormal cervical screening, contraception and urinary incontinence surgery.
Dr Myriam graduated with First Class Honours in Medicine and Surgery and has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in women's health and advanced gynaecological surgery. She holds a Master of Surgery in Advanced Gynaecological Surgery from Western Sydney University and a Master of Women's Health Medicine from UNSW.
She has a particular interest in women's health across different stages of life, including fertility and reproductive health, adolescent gynaecology, menopause and perimenopause, urogynaecology and minimally invasive and advanced gynaecological surgery.
