Video Consultation
Video consultations allow you and your doctor to see each other during your appointment. This can be particularly useful when you need to show your GP something that is concerning you.
Phone Consultation
Phone consultations are available for patients who may not have access to a smartphone, tablet, computer or reliable internet connection.
Is telehealth right for you?
Telehealth is convenient, but it isn't suitable for every medical concern.
Choose face-to-face if you need an examination
If your concern may require your doctor to examine you — such as checking your ears, throat, skin or an injury — please book an in-person appointment.
Your doctor may recommend an in-person visit
Depending on your symptoms and circumstances, your doctor may ask you to attend the clinic for a face-to-face consultation.
Telehealth consultations require eligibility
Medicare eligibility requirements apply to telehealth consultations. Please speak with reception if you are unsure whether telehealth is suitable for your appointment.

Video is our preferred telehealth option and is easy to use from a smartphone, tablet or computer.
Book your appointment
Choose a video consultation when booking your appointment with your GP.
Wait for your doctor
When your doctor is ready, you’ll receive an SMS/email containing a link to join your consultation.
Click the link
Open the link and allow access to your camera and microphone when prompted. Your consultation will then begin.
Prefer a phone consultation?
Telephone consultations are available for patients who don't have access to a suitable device or reliable internet connection.
What happens?
Your doctor will call your preferred contact number when they are ready to begin your consultation. Please make sure your phone is nearby and that you are somewhere you can speak privately.
What happens next?
Prescriptions
If appropriate, your doctor can arrange your prescription to be sent to you electronically.
Referrals
Specialist, imaging and pathology referrals can be sent to you electronically where appropriate.
Results
Your doctor can discuss your results with you during your telehealth consultation and advise you on any next steps.
