From 1 July 2026, Medicare introduced a new requirement for patients receiving bulk billed services. Patients must now provide consent each time a bulk billed consultation is processed.

We’re pleased to introduce Holter monitor testing at Southern Doctors Clinic. This convenient, in-house service helps diagnose heart rhythm issues and is bulk billed for eligible Medicare card holders.

From 1 July, Australians will be able to participate in the new National Lung Cancer Screening Program and undergo a low-dose CT scan every two years to detect signs of lung cancer.
