Southern Doctors Clinic is proud to partner with Australian Clinical Labs Pathology to provide on-site pathology collection services for our patients. Having pathology services available within our practice makes it easier and more convenient for you to complete any tests your doctor requests without needing to travel elsewhere.

Services Available

Our on-site pathology collection centre can perform a wide range of routine and specialised tests, including:

• Blood tests

• Urine and stool tests

• Antenatal and pregnancy-related tests

• Chronic disease monitoring (e.g., diabetes, thyroid, cholesterol)

• Other pathology services requested by your doctor

Collection Hours

• Monday: 9am - 1pm

• Tuesday: 9am - 4:30pm

• Wednesday: closed

• Thursday: 9am - 1pm

• Friday: 9am - 1pm

Please note that hours may vary during holiday periods.

Do I Need an Appointment?

Appointments are not required for most routine collections. Simply bring your pathology referral form from your GP or specialist, and our pathology team will assist you. Some specialised tests may require fasting or specific preparation – your doctor will let you know if this applies.

Billing Information

Clinical Labs Pathology provides bulk billing for most Medicare-eligible pathology tests. Please bring your Medicare card and any concession cards with you. For tests not covered by Medicare, out-of-pocket fees may apply – the pathology team will advise you before proceeding.
