Dr Mariah Melek - Maternity Leave

We would like to let our patients know that Dr Mariah Melek will be taking maternity leave, with her last day at Southern Doctors Clinic being Friday, 2 October 2026.

We are very happy for Dr Melek as she prepares for this exciting new chapter and wish her and her growing family all the very best.

When will Dr Melek return?

At this stage, Dr Melek’s return date has not yet been confirmed. We anticipate that she will return sometime in 2027 and will provide an update to patients once her plans are confirmed.

If you are currently seeing Dr Melek and would like to arrange an appointment before her leave, we encourage you to contact our reception team or book online where appointments are available.

During Dr Melek’s absence, our other GPs will continue to provide care and can assist with your ongoing healthcare needs.

We understand that continuity of care is important and our team will do our best to make the transition as smooth as possible.
