We are pleased to announce that Southern Doctors Clinic now offers Holter monitor testing as part of our commitment to providing comprehensive, convenient care to our patients.
A Holter monitor is a small, portable device that continuously records your heart’s rhythm over a 24–48 hour period (or longer, if required). It is commonly used to investigate symptoms such as:
Palpitations
Dizziness or light-headedness
Fainting episodes
Irregular heart rhythms
This service allows our doctors to gain a more detailed understanding of your heart health while you go about your normal daily activities.

Bulk Billing Available
We are pleased to offer this service as bulk billed for eligible Medicare card holders, making it more accessible and affordable for our patients. Please note that the holter service itself is bulk billed, but fees apply for GP consultations as per our fees.
Our Nurses will fit the monitor, provide clear instructions, and arrange timely review of your results with your GP.
