Your feedback What we are doing
Access to after-hours care
We have an agreement with Sydney Medical Services Cooperative (SydMed) to provide after-hours care and home visits for our patients. This service is bulk billed for Medicare cardholders.

Patients can contact SydMed on (02) 8724 6300 from 6pm weekdays, 12pm Saturdays, and 24 hours on Sundays and public holidays. A summary of each visit is sent to your regular GP to support continuity of care.

For urgent, non-life-threatening issues, patients can attend a local Medicare Urgent Care Clinic. In an emergency, please attend your nearest hospital emergency department.
Appointment availability
Patients are offered the next available appointment with their preferred GP where possible. If availability is limited, patients can join a cancellation list to be contacted if an earlier appointment becomes available.

We also provide limited same-day appointments for clinically urgent matters, depending on doctor availability. These appointments may not always be available with your preferred GP.

Since conducting this patient feedback survey, we have recruited two new GPs to improve appointment availability and flexibility for patients.
Waiting times at the practice
We offer different appointment lengths based on clinical need, and patients with multiple concerns are encouraged to book longer consultations. Our reception team may ask the reason for your visit to ensure appropriate time is allocated and to help reduce delays.

Late arrivals, additional concerns raised during the consultation, or requests to include extra family members can impact waiting times for other patients.

Delays may also occur due to emergencies, technical issues, or complex care. Alongside consultations, GPs also complete essential behind-the-scenes work including results review, referrals, care plans, clinical notes, and communication with hospitals and specialists.

Our receptionists will ensure to advise patients of any significant delays to apppointments.
